Hey, I’m Kristyn Mastroianni.
What’s your shred? 🤘🏼
Mine is snowboarding, skateboarding, mountain biking, and raising my own favorite riding buddy. I’m a 23-season snowboarder, a trainer with 17 years of experience, and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with a decade of experience.
Whether you snowboard, skateboard, ride MTB or moto cross, or simply want to keep up with your kids, I can help you shred for life through manual therapy, strength training, rehabilitation, and sports nutrition.
Through Shred Strong, I offer more than just a focus on fitness. I’m a trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist , but I’m also a snowboarder, a skater, a hiker, a mountain biker, and a parent.
I’ve been able to combine my passions to help you not only shred through your pain, but to heal from it, move better, and get stronger — mentally and physically — so you can keep doing the things you love.
I believe in my clients, often in ways they don’t believe in themselves. I’m real. Who I am outside of the gym is who I am in the gym.
I’m not a bubbly cheerleader, but I also don’t push people past their capacity. I will never give someone something they can’t do – even if they think they can’t at first. Sometimes believing in your own strength is the hardest part, and I understand that.
I’m an advocate for the importance of recovery, and I’m passionate about teaching people that strength training is so much more than just going into the gym and beating the shit out of yourself.
This approach is not just a personal belief system, but one grounded in more than a decade of experience in training and massage – and more than two decades shredding:

Beyond my expertise in strength training, mobility, and rehabilitation, I started Shred Strong because I love action sports, and I want to shred for the rest of my life.
My path here started when I failed out of college in Vermont for snowboarding all the time and skipping class. And I don’t regret it for a second.
Immersing myself into that mountain life taught me more about who I am – and who I want to be – than school ever could. I struggled to learn in conventional ways, so I found an outside-of-the box way to create a future for myself. My goal when I left Vermont was either to move back or create a life where I could ride mid-week.
It took about a decade of growing my biz, but here I am!
